My Final Review of AB Ripper X As Part of the P90X Program

There has been a lot of things said about P90X and the Ab Ripper X system of exercises but to recap it all, it’s the best form of exercising you can do. This is because Ab Ripper X is based on a special system of exercises that incorporate so called muscle confusion – a term that was coined by the creator of the P90X program Tony Horton.
SO what exactly is this muscle confusion that Tony talks about? It’s a method whereby the exercises are done in such a controlled, yet unfamiliar way that they quite literally get confused and need to keep improving. This is why P90X and Ab Ripper X are so good at avoiding the plateau effect that plague most work out systems. You know what I’m talking about, right? You exercise more, and yet see very little from it? Well with Ab Ripper X and P90X, you don’t get to the plateau as quickly as with normal exercises.

Ripper X Exercises

What exercises are part of the Ab Ripper X system? There are eleven in total and with each one requiring you to do 25 reps that means you need to go through 275 reps altogether. However, as mentioned a little earlier – it’s not about how much you exercise but about how you do it and in what order. The workout lasts for around 16-20 minutes and you should finish it as soon as you possibly can. This maximizes the effect that Ab Ripper X has on your abs.

The exercises that you will find in this program are: Fifer Scissors, Crunchy Frog, Cross Leg Situps, Hip Rock and Raise, V-Ups, Oblique V-Ups,Mason Twist, Leg Climbs, Pulse Ups, Ins and Outs and Bicycles. However, the way you do each one and the way you go from one to another and particularly the order in which they are done is what is most important to Ab Ripper X and avoiding the plateau effect of over exercising.
In a nutshell, if you do these exercises then you will be able to get decent looking abs, but to get the full effect I definitely recommend buying the entire P90X program. Simply put, while Ab Ripper X will help you get great abs, you need to keep the rest of your body in tip top shape as well. It’s no use having six-pack abs if you have flabby arms or your chest looks like it should be on someone with a belly rather than on someone who has a six-pack.

What’s In P90X?

When you order the P90X program, not only will you get 12 videos with exercises ranging from kenpo, yoga and core stabilization but you will also get proper muscle toning workouts for your arms, legs and back. This will complement the Ab Ripper X videos to a tee and make sure that you have the best possible body.
Now a lot of these videos are available, in part on Youtube. People who have done the the P90X program have put them up to show how they are coming along and most of these videos have to do with the Ab Ripper X routines. However, you will never learn as much from amateur shots as you will when someone like Tony Horton explains things to you. He is an amazing trainer and it’s no wonder that he has a list of celebrity clients as long as my arm. Also, you will get absolutely everything which includes a P90X meal guide for your 90 days of getting to tip top shape.
Now a meal plan might not interest you that much, as there are a lot of weight loss meal plans out there. However, you have to remember that getting ripped and losing weight are two totally different things. Tony will show you exactly what to eat so that your muscles will have the energy they need to become rock hard.

Final recap of P90X and Ab Ripper X

All in all, I have done the P90X program around three times and still do some of the exercises to keep myself fit. It has helped me gain a great body and I highly recommend it to anyone who is serious about looking good and staying healthy. You could only go for Ab Ripper X, but you would be losing out on a heck of a lot more by not going with the full program… trust me. I went that route first and I regret it. Don’t let yourself have any regrets like I do – get the P90x program today and change your life!

Ab Ripper X – Your P90X ABS Builder Workout Program!

Ab Ripper X – time to get serious

Let’s get serious for a second here – everyone would love to have rock hard abdominal muscles, right? Well, the problem is that it’s really difficult to get them as the abs in particular need a lot of work. It’s not only work, but the right exercises in the right order are crucial to any success with your abs and this is where Ab Ripper X comes in. It is an exercise routine that was developed by world renowned trainer Tony Horton who is responsible for the P90X workout system of intense exercises to get your body ripped.

Now here’s the thing – Ab Ripper X is not about looking like one of the those bulky bodybuilders, it’s more about looking the best that you can. We all have different body types and striving to become too big can lead to serious health issues. However, with Ab Ripper X you will be able to literally melt the excess fat off your abs and hips if you do the exercises regularly.

What Ab Ripper X is NOT!

Now first a little explanation of what Ab Ripper X is not. It is not intended for you to lose weight. If it’s weight loss that you are after, then you should look at getting the entire P90X program as it is very specific to total body control and workout. Ab Ripper X, by itself, is simply intended to focus on your abdominal and core area and help you get these muscles to be rock hard. If you are overweight, then you will need to lose weight first, before you can show off your rock hard abs. It’s similar to Sumo wrestlers – who have exceedingly strong abdominal muscles but can’t really show them due to the fact that they have layer of fat over those abs. So, now that we’re on the same page as far as Ab Ripper X is concerned – what do you need to know about this system?

What Makes Ab Ripper X So Good?

The main thing about Ab Ripper X is that it is so good not just because it is an intense workout, but also because it follows the general guidelines of the P90X program which focuses on so called muscle confusion which is a form of periodization, aka cross training, which is specially designed to get the best results while avoiding something called the plateau effect (which means your muscles stop improving). This leads to the muscles continuously improving due to many phases of controlled but unfamiliar movements. This is exactly what makes Ab Ripper X so special – it’s not just the eleven exercises or the 25 reps per exercise that you need to do. Ab Ripper X is more about how you do the exercises and in what order you do them in. The way you move from one exercise to another is paramount to your success and the program should be followed as closely as possible.

The best thing, if you get the entire P90X workout series, is the online support that Tony Horton offers to all owners of P90X. You will gain access to a members area where people are going through the program just like you are and you will receive invaluable advice on how best to stick with the program, and what to do in certain situations. You will also be able to see how other people are coming along and their results while using Ab Ripper X.
Simply put – there really is not other way to get your abs strong, mean and lean than Ab Ripper X. Ab Ripper X is simply the best program out there that will make you feel as if you are earning your six pack. There is no gimmick, no miracle creams, no miracle machines that will get you into shape – only hard work and effort. Ab Ripper X just gives you the opportunity to do everything properly from the start and make sure that you are getting proper results in a proper time period. Never forget that if you want the full impact of the P90X system, then it is much preferred to just using Ab Ripper X. While you might want to focus on your abs, you do need other muscles to be worked out as well for your general well being and there is no better system than P90X.

AB Ripper X Workout Exercises

Looking for Ab Ripper X

If you are looking for Ab Ripper X information or reviews, then you have come to the right place. Here I will tell you what’s in the Ab Ripper X workout, what makes it so good and more importantly what make the Ab Ripper X workout complete, read on to find out more if you want to get the best from Ab Ripper X and for your abdominal training.

Ask any guy who work out and they’ll agree that the abs is the hardest part of the body to sculpt. I think this comes down to two reasons:

  1. Emotionally
  2. Physically
Emotionally, it’s more fun to concentrate on your chest, arms and shoulders, build them up so you can flex and show them off. Furthermore, you won’t see your abs when you’re wearing a tight shirt but that same shirt will reveal the sculpted chest, arms and shoulders. Am I right?
Physically, it’s harder to get a sexy 6 pack because you also need to burn off the fat covering your abs. But with the right cardio workout and diet, the Ab Ripper X workout will get you the washboard abdominals that will make girls and guys stop to admire. Here is how:

11 exercises of 25 rep each makes Ab Ripper X a killer Ab workout program

Ab Ripper X is a 16 minute workout consisting of 11 abdominal exercises of 25 reps each. That’s a total of 275 reps. Your abs will be burning and screaming by the time you’ve finished but you’ll feel so good cause you know you’re gonna get the results you want.
Yes, it will be painful but I break through my pain barrier when I exercise by visualising the rewards I will get. Imagine casually taking your shirt off at the beach or poolside and in the corner of your eyes, you can see your friends staring at your 6 pack. Better yet, it’s the babes at the beach or poolside that you really want to admire you, right? That’s what keeps me crunching when my abs is burning like hell. Focus on the reward, ignore the pain.

Why Ab Ripper X is the Complete workout program

Focusing on just getting sculpted abdominals isn’t enough. Yes you may have a chest-plated chest or big biceps or shoulders but if you are going to put yourself through a strenuous workout, you might as well make sure your other visual muscle groups are looked after as well.
This is where the P90X workout program comes in. It has 12 workouts covering:
  1. Chest and back
  2. Plyometrics
  3. Shoulders and Arms
  4. Legs and Back
  5. Biceps and Triceps
  6. Core and more
If you’re going to buy a workout program, you need to buy a COMPLETE workout program.
